An armrest on the driver's seat (or the passenger seat) can be very convenient. Here’s how to install it on the Volkswagen Transporter T6. This part can be easily purchased on AliBaba, for example, at a price of £16.00 each (+ shipping costs). Unfortunately, there is no pre-drilled mounting provision, so you must carefully take measurements and drill a hole in the foam resin that makes up the seat side padding and also through the upholstery. Along with the armrest, a metal bracket will be provided, which we will fix to the metal part of the seat. The hole is only for passing the fixing bolt, but it is also our responsibility to ensure a strong adhesive bond. Connect the bolt to the fixing flange and on the other side to the armrest.
