In this short video tutorial, let's see how to replace the battery (CR2032) in the key of a first generation Volkswagen Touran, a specific model produced from 2010 to 2015. First we have to press the appropriate release button on the physical key to release it, then insert a small flat screwdriver into the special slot located inside the physical key housing, once inserted, rotate it to separate the two halves of the remote control. Finally we take the lower half of the remote and open it to find the old battery to replace, then replace it and close everything.
