How to Eliminate the Noise from the Timing Chain on a Volkswagen Golf VI 1.4 TSI?

In this video, we see how the noise issue at startup from the timing chain of the Volkswagen Golf VI 1.4 TSI 122 hp was resolved. This was achieved using Royal Purple SAE 5W30 oil, a high-performance road oil with anti-friction and anti-wear properties, which you can find for example on Autogold at €22.97; and by adding the Liqui Moly oil additive, a molybdenum disulphide anti-friction additive that adheres persistently to metals, costing €11.71, also on Autogold. The chain is immersed in engine oil, so the combination of these two components creates a much more persistent protection on the timing chain, eliminating the noise when cold.
