How to Replace the Timing Chain on a Volkswagen Golf 1.4 TSI?

To replace the timing chain on a Volkswagen Golf 1.4 TSI, remove the side covers and any obstructing parts that prevent access to the pulleys and the chain. Once the parts are removed, you can undo the bolt securing the tensioner and loosen the pulleys so that the timing chain can be removed. After extracting the old chain, install the new one by placing it around the pulleys and tensioning it by fitting the tensioner. After installation, reassemble all previously removed parts.
