In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the external mirror cover on a Volkswagen Golf 7 by following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is to purchase the mirror cover from an authorised car parts dealer. First, remove the mirror by applying slight downward pressure and then use a bodywork tool to lever it off. Once the mirror is removed, disconnect the connectors attached to it. Using the bodywork tool, press the fastening elements of the mirror cover. Next, lever off the outer part to remove the cover. Once the old parts have been removed from the mirror, install the new pieces in reverse order.
