To replace the key shell of the Volkswagen Golf, use a tool to pry off the manufacturer's logo on the back of the device. This will allow you to separate the upper part of the remote from the lower part: here you will find the battery and the coding chip, which need to be removed. From the upper part, you will need to detach the key by unscrewing the designated screw: all the parts removed from the old remote can then be installed in the new shell, which should be closed ensuring everything functions correctly.
