How to Install a Hood Deflector on the Volkswagen Taos

To customize your vehicle by installing a deflector or small spoiler at the base of the hood, follow these steps: purchase an aftermarket deflector, preferably an original one. Open the package and locate the deflector, the mounting clips, and the necessary supports. Open the hood and find the centerline of the hood and the location of the holes under the edge near the latch. Take the supports and attach them to the holes using the provided clips. Finally, position the deflector and secure it to the supports to complete the job.
