How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Passat B8

Model: Volkswagen Passat B8, 3G, MK 8 - Years 2014-2023
Part: Service warning light

To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Passat B8, press and hold the 0.0 button located in the centre of the instrument cluster. While holding it, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to power on the instrument cluster. A message will appear asking if you want to confirm the reset. Press the 0.0 button again to confirm the reset of the light. After turning the ignition off and back on, you will notice that the light is off.
