Begin the service light reset procedure on the Volkswagen Passat by ensuring the car is parked safely and the instrument cluster is off. Locate the 0.0 button installed below the dashboard display and hold it down. While doing this, turn the key to switch on the instrument cluster. When a message on the display asks if you are sure you want to reset the service, release the button and press it briefly once more to confirm. You have finished resetting the service light on your Volkswagen Passat and can turn off the ignition.
