To reset the "Service" light on a Volkswagen Passat, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Use the controls on the steering wheel to enter the onboard computer menu.

Find and select the option related to maintenance. Follow the instructions on the display to perform the reset.

Press and hold the specified button until the reset is complete and the light turns off. This operation updates the maintenance monitoring system of your Passat and correctly resets the service reminder. Before proceeding, ensure you have completed the service as per the manufacturer’s guidelines.
