How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Volkswagen Passat

Before you can begin, sit in the driver's seat of your Volkswagen Passat. Start by pressing and holding the spanner-shaped button located above the ignition switch, then activate the instrument cluster. Continue to hold the button until the message "Reset service now!" appears. After this, release the spanner button, then press and hold the "min" button until the "Service" light on your Volkswagen Passat turns off, completing the reset.
