Setting the Parking Function for the Right Exterior Mirror

Model: Volkswagen Passat B7 - Years 2010-2014

This vehicle is equipped with a very useful function for parking manoeuvres: once reverse gear is engaged, the right exterior mirror automatically tilts downwards to provide a better view of the roadside and avoid contact with the kerb. This function is activated by entering the settings menu (SETTINGS) in the comfort section (CONVENIENCES) and ticking the MIRROR DOWN function: then, by selecting the right exterior mirror using the adjustment knob, it will tilt downwards once reverse is engaged and return to its normal position once you drive forward.
