How to Remove and Replace a Wheel on a Volkswagen Passat

Watch this video to learn how to remove and replace a wheel on a Volkswagen Passat. Open the boot and take the wheel removal kit, which includes: jack, jack handle, screwdriver, wheel nut wrench, and telescopic wrench. Position the jack under the jacking point of the vehicle, which is under the stiffest part of the chassis to avoid bending the metal due to weight. Place protective covers under the wheel, and loosen the wheel nuts. Now lift the car with the jack handle, unscrew the nuts, and pull the wheel off the hub. Fit the new wheel onto the hub with the respective nuts. Always remember to store the wheel removal kit with all its parts in the boot.
