How to remove and repair the door handle on a Volkswagen Passat B6

Disassembling and repairing the door handle of a Volkswagen Passat B6 is not complicated, but it requires a bit of patience. First, open the door and remove the plastic cap near the lock. Inside there is a Torx screw: unscrew it without completely removing it. Now you can remove the lock cylinder (if present) and then the handle, pulling it slightly outwards. If the handle is broken, check the springs and linkages: often the internal pin breaks or the cable loosens. If necessary, replace the damaged piece and reassemble everything following the steps in reverse. Test the operation before closing everything. A tip? Take photos while disassembling, so you avoid unpleasant surprises during reassembly!
