How do you remove the handle on a VW Passat? Here’s how to remove the handle from inside the car door. Remove the seal on the side of the door to access the screws securing the handle (door side). Unscrew the screw located on the side of the door as shown in the video, remove the left cover of the handle, then slide the handle left-right out of the door. Remove the door opening handle and insert the new piece into the door. Finally, attach the handle and secure it with the screw. Refit the seal on the side of the door.
