How to Reset the Service Light on the Volkswagen Passat?

To reset the service light on the Volkswagen Passat, press and hold the SET button located to the right of the instrument cluster while it is off. With the button pressed, turn the ignition key to switch on the instrument cluster; a message will appear on the display asking if you want to reset the service light.

Confirm by pressing the OK button located on the right side of the steering wheel.

This will successfully reset the service light, and you should turn off and then turn on the instrument cluster to confirm.
