How to Reset the Service Lights on a Volkswagen Transporter

Model: Volkswagen Transporter T4, MK 4 - Years 1990-2003

To reset the "OIL" Service light on a Volkswagen Transporter, simply follow these instructions. With the ignition off, press and hold the right button on the dashboard (the one to reset the trip mileage) and turn on the ignition, but not the engine. The "OIL" message will appear. Now release the right button and turn the left one (the one to set the clock). The oil light will be reset. To reset the "INSP" light, again with the ignition off, press and hold the right button on the dashboard and turn on the ignition, but not the engine. The "OIL" message will appear. Release the right button and press it again once to display the "INSP" message. At this point, turn the left button (the one to set the clock). The INSP light will be reset.
