How to remove the radio from the Volkswagen Polo MK5

In this video, you will see how to remove the RNS310 radio from the Volkswagen Polo MK5 (R6). For this operation, you will need a plastic trim tool to avoid scratching the surfaces. Pry gently at the top of the frame to lift it slowly so it comes off easily. Then, you will need a Torx screwdriver to remove the four screws that secure the radio to the centre console. Once the four screws are removed, the radio can be taken out, being careful of the electrical connections at the back that need to be disconnected. Then decide whether to repair it or replace it with another.
