How to remove the radio from a Volkswagen Polo 6R

To remove the radio from the dashboard of a Volkswagen Polo 6R, first disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. You will need two Volkswagen radio removal keys, which can be found in electronics stores or online for a few pounds (the YouTuber has a complete collection). First, remove the trim surrounding the radio by gently prying it off and releasing all the clips until the trim is completely free. Some cables may still be attached, so do not fully remove it; just leave it resting on the gear lever. Insert the removal keys into the side holes until you hear the 'click' of the spring releasing, then pull evenly and disconnect the connectors located behind the unit.
