To thoroughly clean the air vents and wash all the slats, removing any dirt residue, it is suggested to remove the vents themselves. Leverage along the edge to first detach the outer frame, removing it along with the control mechanism for the slat orientation. You can then extract the vent and proceed to wash and clean all components, possibly submerging them in a soapy water tray and using a soft brush for cleaning and rinsing.
