- Years 2017-2024 To deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen T-Roc, you need to turn on the instrument panel and press the dedicated button located to the right of the steering column. Then, you will need to press the button located at the end of the lever on the left side of the steering wheel, so that a specific menu is displayed. When the "Lane Assist" wording appears, you will need to press the OK button located on the right spoke of the steering wheel: this will remove the checkmark next to the specific wording and the system will be deactivated. To reactivate it, simply press OK again to make the checkmark reappear.
