How to Remove the Centre Console of the Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

To remove the centre console of the Volkswagen Golf, open the glove compartment located at the rear of the centre console by lifting the armrest. Once lifted, disconnect the connectors inside and completely remove the compartment. Next, lift the leather gaiter covering the gear lever and fully detach the cover surrounding the lever. Once all these components are removed, you can insert the new coverings that make up the centre console; ensure they are securely fixed in their housing.
