Removing the Centre Console of a Volkswagen Golf Mk4

In today's tutorial, you will learn how to remove the centre console of a fourth-generation Volkswagen Golf. First, get inside the vehicle and remove the ashtray from the centre console, located at the rear; then, remove the Torx screws found underneath and the additional screws on the sides. At this point, you can take off the plastic cover of the centre console by disconnecting the electrical connector located underneath. Now, remove the gear lever gaiter by unfastening it, and take out the screws found under the ashtray: finally, remove the side screws to take off the entire plastic assembly.
