In this video, see how to perform the auto test on the Volkswagen Climatronic: press both buttons located at the far right and left of the controls simultaneously, then turn on the instrument cluster. Once this operation is done, you can release both buttons at the same time. A test of the unit’s functionality will begin, visible on the display and also verifiable by the sound of the fan running at maximum speed. You can adjust the fan speed with the red and blue buttons: theoretically, the red button increases the speed, while the blue button decreases it. Pressing the "Econ" button resets and returns to normal conditions.
