To reset and calibrate the HVAC flaps on a Volkswagen Climatronic, use the buttons on the central console. Press and hold the air button directed at the person and the air conditioning button simultaneously for a moment. The two yellow/orange LEDs will start to flash. When the air button directed at the person turns off and the air conditioning button lights up steadily, the "auto" and "dual" buttons will also light up steadily.
