In order to reset the Climatronic of Volkswagen cars, you need to simultaneously press the air recirculation button and the ECON button, while the instrument panel is turned off. By continuing to hold down both buttons, you can insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to start the car. Once the instrument panel is turned on, you will notice that the indications on the central display will disappear, completely resetting the screen. Once the reset is complete, you can turn off the instrument panel.
