Now we are ready to remove the adhesive from the deflector and insert it into the window seal channel, starting from the front and finishing at the back. Sometimes the deflectors come with safety clips to be inserted where deemed most appropriate: they can be made of plastic or metal, and must be inserted evenly along the length of the deflector, pushing them with the screwdriver into the rubber seal channel. It is very important that the window closes perfectly with the deflector mounted.
