In this video we see how to mount wind deflectors on the front doors of the Volkswagen Polo. The first thing to do is to lower the window all the way down, then place the deflector on the door - also to make sure it is the right size - then with a small screwdriver, we enter the seal to make sure there are no debris. Then we apply a product that softens the rubber seals, like the one we can find with the code 353786215109 on E-Bay, at the price of 21.20 euros, with free delivery. Now we are ready to remove the adhesive from the deflector and insert it into the window seal channel, starting from the front and finishing at the back. Sometimes the deflectors come with safety clips to be inserted where deemed most appropriate: they can be made of plastic or metal, and must be inserted evenly along the length of the deflector, pushing them with the screwdriver into the rubber seal channel. It is very important that the window closes perfectly with the deflector mounted.
