How do you reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Crafter?

To make the Service indicator disappear from the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Crafter, you need to turn on the instrument panel by inserting the appropriate key into its ignition switch: once the key is turned on, you need to hold down the button on the left side of the instrument panel until the wrench icon and the remaining kilometers until the next maintenance appear. As soon as this screen is displayed, you need to press the button again for a few seconds until a confirmation message appears. At this point, you can turn off and on the instrument panel to verify the reset.
