How to disassemble the external rearview mirror in the Volkswagen Tiguan?

Model: Volkswagen Tiguan BW, MK 2, AD - Years 2016-2025

In this tutorial we can see how to disassemble the external rearview mirror in the Volkswagen Tiguan, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, we open the door in which we will be working, then we locate the plastic screw on the lower edge of the panel and rotate it 90 degrees. We then unscrew the screw indicated with a Torx T30 key, unclip the handle cover and unscrew the two additional screws. At this point we can separate the panel from the door, disconnect the mirror connector and disassemble it by unscrewing the respective bolts.
