Antenna Lift System Repair

If the electric antenna lift system is damaged, you can repair it by simply replacing the plastic toothed belt that drives the antenna. The system is located in the rear boot beneath the left trim panel. You must remove the entire antenna drive system, then take off the lower bracket and the cover cap of the plastic gear system to allow the removal of the old antenna and the broken belt. At this point, insert the new antenna, first threading the belt, which must be properly wound onto the drive spool, completing the installation by securing the antenna to the rear wing and checking its operation.
