Pump and float removal on a Volvo S60

Model: Volvo S60 MK 1 - Years 2000-2009
Part: Fuel pump

To remove the float and the immersion pump on this car we must first remove the seat of the rear seat under which the opening of the tank is positioned in which the immersion pump is housed. The cover is held in position by 4 by which must be unscrewed and underneath the pump itself is anchored with a plastic ring which must be unscrewed with a suitable tool shown in the video. It will be sufficient to disconnect the power supply plug of the pump and the relative cables. During reassembly, secure the pump with a cable to avoid the risk of dropping it before putting it in position.
