Replacing Engine Air Filter with Sport Filter

Model: Volvo S60 MK 1 - Years 2000-2009
Part: Air filter

Replacing the original air filter with a sport type not only improves vehicle performance but also eliminates the need for regular replacement, allowing for periodic cleaning as indicated in the washing kit instructions.
Once you open the hood and ensure it is securely supported, you can see the air filter housing on the front right. Release the locking clips along the edges. At this point, lift the cover of the filter housing (taking care of the mass air flow sensor wiring), remove the old filter, and ensure the housing is clean (you may clean it with compressed air, being careful not to let debris enter the intake tube). Insert the new sport filter after applying the sealing adhesive from the kit along its edges. Reposition the cover and reattach the locking clips.

How to Remove the Gear Knob on an Opel Astra

How to replace the gear knob on an Opel Astra? Follow these steps: use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame (if you need to replace it). Grip the knob with both hands and pull it upwards (with a strong and decisive motion) until it comes off the gear stick. For installation: fit the new gaiter and position it on the centre tunnel, take the new knob and push it onto the stick, tightening it until fully threaded. Test the movement of the stick on the centre tunnel to ensure the knob is correctly fitted.
