This tutorial shows how to replace the front brake pads on the Yamaha V-Star 1100, a very simple and quick operation. First, position yourself in front of the brake in question, then loosen the two pins with a 10mm socket and, using a 12mm spanner, unscrew the two bolts securing the caliper.

Next, separate the caliper from the disc, completely unscrew the pins, and remove the old pads. At this point, clean any dirt residue, compress the pistons, fit the new parts, and follow the reverse procedure.
