To change the motor oil of a Yamaha FJR 1300, start by placing the motorcycle in a stable position, ideally on a center stand, to ensure balance during the operation. Start the engine for a few minutes, just enough time to slightly warm up the oil, making it easier for complete drainage. Turn off the engine and locate the oil drain plug located under the engine. Place a container under the plug to collect the used oil. Carefully unscrew the plug, allowing the oil to drain completely. After a few minutes, once the oil has stopped dripping, screw the drain plug back in, making sure it is tightly secured to prevent leaks. Now, find the oil filler cap, usually located on the side of the engine, and gradually pour in the new oil, checking the level with the indicator. When you have reached the optimal level, close the cap and start the engine for a few moments to allow the oil to distribute evenly in the system, then check the level again and add oil if necessary.
