To change the motor oil of a Yamaha Fazer, start by warming up the engine for a few minutes to thin out the oil, then turn it off. Make sure the motorcycle is stable using a center stand or side stand. Under the engine, find the oil drain plug and place a basin underneath it to collect the oil. Use a wrench to loosen the drain plug and let the oil drain completely into the basin. Once all the oil has been drained, put the drain plug back in place and tighten it securely. Next, locate the oil fill cap on the top of the engine. Remove the cap and, using a funnel, slowly pour the recommended amount of new oil as stated in the owner's manual. Once finished, close the fill cap, start the engine for a few minutes, then turn it off to recheck the oil level, adding more if necessary.
