In order to disassemble the engine of the Yamaha YZF450, you will need to loosen the screws that secure the block to its housing, so that you can then disconnect all the connectors and remove the intake and exhaust manifolds. Then you will need to proceed by loosening the screws that secure the cylinder and the cylinder head. In this way, you will be able to locate the piston inside and disconnect it from the corresponding connecting rod. Then you will be able to access the underlying crankshaft and replace all the components that need to be replaced.
