How do you replace the clutch of the Yamaha YFZ 450?

In order to replace the clutch of the Yamaha YFZ 450, you need to loosen the screws that secure the protective casing, located on the right side of the bike. Once the screws of this casing have been loosened, it will be possible to detach it from its seat and access the underlying clutch: this can now be removed from its seat by unscrewing the fixing screws and extracting all the discs that make it up. After removing the old clutch, it will be possible to insert the new discs, so that they are then covered with the corresponding casing.

First of all, we put the stand on our bike and start to drain the engine oil, unscrewing the vent bolt that we find under the engine; let the old oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler cap and carry out the new top up; we use the oil with the right characteristics, finally checking the oil level using the dipstick!
