How do you reset the Service light on the Yamaha Xmax 300?

The Service indicator that appears on the instrument panel of the Yamaha Xmax 300 can be reset by turning on the instrument panel, so that it is possible to navigate within the menu that will appear on the on-board computer using the TRIP button located at the base of the right handlebar.

You will need to navigate until you find the option that shows the remaining oil life: at this point you will need to hold down the TRIP button again until the indicator starts flashing.

Now you can release the button and then press it again for a few seconds: in this way you will notice that the indicator will be reset.

How to replace the drive belt on the Yamaha Xmax 300

Here are the instructions for removing and replacing the drive belt on the Yamaha Xmax 300 scooter. First, place the scooter on its centre stand and start unscrewing all the screws securing the transmission cover, which are located on the sides; then unscrew the central nut of the fan and subsequently that of the clutch bell, as shown in the video. Once the components are removed, take out and replace the drive belt with a new one; reassemble or replace the entire clutch pack if necessary.
