To reset the Oil Service light on the Yamaha Xmax 300, turn on the instrument cluster so you can navigate the onboard computer menu using the TRIP button located at the base of the right-hand dial. Scroll until you find the option showing the remaining oil life: at this point, press the TRIP button again until the light starts to flash. Now release the button and press it again for a few seconds: this will completely reset the light.
