To reset the Service light on a Yamaha Xmax 300, turn on the instrument cluster by rotating the key in the ignition switch: once the cluster is on, navigate through the menu that appears by repeatedly pressing the TRIP button on the right of the handlebars.

When the mileage until the next service is displayed, press and hold the TRIP button for a few seconds: this will cause the maintenance interval to start flashing, and you can release the button when the light is reset.
