To change the motor oil of a Yamaha FZ6R, start by warming up the engine for a few minutes to make the oil more fluid and easier to drain. Once the engine is turned off, place the motorcycle on a flat surface and make sure it is stable. Under the engine, locate the oil drain plug. Prepare a basin to collect the old oil and, using a wrench, loosen and remove the drain plug. Let the oil flow completely into the basin. When the oil has stopped flowing, clean the area around the drain plug and securely reattach it. Next, locate the oil fill plug on the top of the engine. Using a funnel, pour the amount of oil specified in the motorcycle manual, making sure not to exceed it. Once you have finished adding the oil, put the fill plug back in place and start the engine for a few minutes to allow the oil to circulate in the system. After turning off the engine, check the oil level and adjust it if necessary. Dispose of the used oil properly in accordance with environmental regulations.
