Let’s see how to reset the service light on a Yamaha X-Max: Insert the key into the instrument panel without starting the engine. Then press the "sel" button until you select the screen that shows the "oil" message, which is where we will reset the oil light. On the right, there is a button with two crossing arrows: that is the "reset" button, and we will press it for about three seconds. We will see the "oil" message start to flash. Release the button and the message should disappear or stop flashing, confirming that the counter has been reset. Press the "sel" button again to return to the main screen.
