To replace the rear shock absorber on a Yamaha FJR 1300, loosen the screws that secure it to its housing: these screws will be located at the top and bottom of the shock absorber itself and can be loosened from the side of the bike. You can then proceed to pull the component from its seat to insert the new spare part: the latter must be secured with screws at both the bottom and top to ensure everything functions correctly after the replacement.
