In this guide, we will cover the main steps to remove and replace the clutch discs on a Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle. First, place the bike on a stand and begin removing the side plastic fairings by unscrewing the screws; drain the engine oil by unscrewing the drain bolt found on the oil sump. At this point, remove the side cover of the clutch by unscrewing the screws and disconnecting the clutch cable; unscrew the bolts of the clutch pack to remove each disc one by one, replacing them with new ones while alternating the insertion of the two different types of discs.
