Before we can get started, we'll need to head to the front side of our Yamaha Aerox scooter. So let's start by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the front fairing to the frame. After that, we will have to go and unhook the retaining clips. Once we have removed the fixing screws, we will have freed the front fairing. At this point, we will have to disengage and extract the front fairing from its housing. When we have completed this last step, we will be able to definitively remove the front fairing of our Yamaha Aerox scooter, and we will have successfully completed the disassembly.

How to change the engine oil of Derbi Fds

Let's find out below the instructions on how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and the oil filter, of the Derbi Fds. First of all, we put the stand on our bike and start to drain the engine oil, unscrewing the vent bolt that we find under the engine; let the old oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler cap and carry out the new top up; we use the oil with the right characteristics, finally checking the oil level using the dipstick!
