To replace the exhaust on the Yamaha V Star, you need to loosen the screws that secure the cover located on the right side of the bike, just below the seat. Once these screws are loosened, you can remove the cover to access the battery underneath. You can then disconnect the power cables and loosen the securing bolts. The battery can then be removed from its housing and the new one can be inserted. By connecting and securing it, you can close the cover and fasten it with the bolts.
