To reset the V-Belt light on a Yamaha Nmax, turn on the instrument cluster by turning the ignition key in its lock: once the cluster is on, repeatedly press the SELECT button until the total odometer appears. Once the miles travelled are displayed, hold down the RESET button so that the V-Belt light stops flashing and disappears completely from the instrument cluster. Once the procedure is complete, you can turn off the instrument cluster by turning the key again.
