To reset the V-Belt light on the Yamaha Xmax 250, turn on the instrument panel by rotating the key in the ignition switch. Once the panel is on, pull the lever next to the right-hand knob of the dashboard towards the TRIP label. When the V-Belt light flashes on the instrument panel with the kilometres remaining until replacement, keep pulling the same lever until the V-Belt light resets and the maintenance interval is restored.
