To reset the V-Belt warning light on the Yamaha Xmax 250, it is necessary to disconnect the connector related to the sensor that regulates the belt wear: this connector will be located inside the front of the motorcycle. In order to access it, you will need to completely remove the front fairing of the motorcycle: once this fairing has been removed, you can disconnect the connector underneath, so that the sensor is no longer active. This way, when you turn on the instrument panel, the V-Belt warning light will be reset.
