First, wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then position a container underneath the bike, locate the drain bolt at the front of the engine, and unscrew it using a socket spanner.

Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, then unscrew the old filter and tighten both the new filter and the bolt. Finally, pour the new oil through the designated upper hole.
